Creamy Taco Dip

Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings: 10
Course: Appetizer, Side Dish
Cuisine: Mexican

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons homemade mexican seasoning
  • 1 10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chiles undrained
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese cut into chunks
  • 2 cups shredded cheese

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until crumbled and no longer pink.
  3. Drain the meat and then add the homemade mexican seasoning, Rotel and cream cheese to the skillet and melt the cream cheese over medium heat.
  4. Stir until the cheese melts.
  5. Place in a casserole pan and sprinkle with the shredded cheese.
  6. Place in oven until cheese melts.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

The Homemade Mexican Seasoning is a great alternative to using packaged seasonings. If you do not make it, you can use 1 package of pre-made taco seasoning.
