Easy Peach Cobbler
This is a super easy time and time again tried-and-true Peach Cobbler recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled fresh peaches
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar divided
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla see below for a homemade recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Put your butter in your 8″ baking dish, and place this in the oven as the oven heats up, it will heat up the butter.
- In a mixing bowl , mix flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, baking powder and salt and whisk to mix it all together.
- Then add milk and egg to the mixture and stir to incorporate.
- In a separate mixing bowl, place the peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix until all of the peaches are coated.
- Carefully take the baking dish out of the oven and pour batter over melted butter, do not stir.
- Next, spoon peaches gently over batter and again Do not Stir.
- Sprinkle some brown sugar over top of the cobbler.
- Place the cobbler in the oven and cook for 40-45 mins or until batter is golden brown.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
This is for a 8″ cobbler, if you want to use a 9×13″ baking dish, double the recipe.

I like to make things that are american classic deserts and some classic dishes for my friends. I love to share American food that isn’t sterotypical like hamburgers and french fries.
