Sweet Tea… in Italia!

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 lemon zested
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • Confectioners sugar for Garnish

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until the eggs are pale and fluffy.

Add the lemon zest and oil and mix well.

Sift the flour and baking powder into the eggs and gently mix to incorporate.

Heat your Pizzelle Iron on medium heat.

Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter into the waffle iron and close the lid.

Cook until golden brown.

Repeat with all of the batter.

Top with confectioners sugar. You can eat with Nutella, jam, jellies and any other topping you would like.


I had this exact Pizelle maker in America and I loved it.

Now I have a different one here, unfortunately I couldn’t bring all of my kitchen gadgets with me. And, I couldn’t find the one I have on amazon.. lol
