Sweet Tea… in Italia!

Italy, Amazing Food, Love and Wine Y'all!

I have been working on this for a few weeks now, but on and off, and let me tell you it is coming together super quick and nice. If you do make a mistake, you can kinda just keep going and not have to frog it all! I started a blanket for myself at first, and then I remembered I needed to start on a baby blanket for another one of my friends that is pregnant. And so this I have started for her!

Here is the pattern I am using for it.

Here is a youtube video tutorial that I have found, and I found out that I love this lady. She is clear, precise in her wording and explanations. I like her a lot. https://youtu.be/g6J43VLQyIs

I decided I loved this pattern so much, that I also started one for my bed/recliner in black and red.

I really meant to make the Red the main color.. but, when I was reading this pattern, It didn’t come into my mind to do it that way, and then, once I got a few rows into it, it dawned on me that I was confused…

Hey I’m new at this stuff!

Updates:

I had a change of heart on the blanket I wanted to make for myself. I am going to make 54 9×9 squares alternating like the picture below. one with the main color black and one square with the main color red. And I am also trying to not cut the yarn and start a new row, just carrying it over. I hate sewing in the ends! But I had this idea because once the baby blanket got to about 3 feet in size, I did not like crocheting the pattern anymore. So I have decided to go old school “granny square” style.
