Sweet Tea… in Italia!

Italy, Amazing Food, Love and Wine Y'all!

And here begins the story of the Dragon Fruit. So, I decided to slice this bad boy up.

I decided to check out a you tube video. Seemed easy enough.

Che stranno colore

After I cut the end off like in the video. I thought, well it looks to me like what a dragon egg would look like. (don’t ask because I don’t know why I thought that).

Instead of cutting it in half lengthwise, I just decided to cut the skin and peel it.

And, so that was that. I cut it up into little pieces like in the video. Finished making caffe and brought it outside with breakfast.

Yeah, I’m not convinced I like it.

Nicola and I both ate it, and like he said, it has the texture of a kiwi without flavor.

Next on my list: Mango and Papaya.

I have eaten mangos in drinks and random foods. But I have never bought one and ate it whole. And papaya. I have no idea, if I have ever eaten anything with papaya in it or not. So, the fruttivendolo, has been getting in all kinds of “exotic” fruits. This may be some weeks of exotic fruits.
