Sweet Tea… in Italia!

Italy, Amazing Food, Love and Wine Y'all!

So, last Wednesday they said we could go out and about and visit family. Life is not back to normal by no means, we are still confined to our communities, which is more like a town.

We went for a walk with the dogs, they were excited to get out, said hello to some of our neighbour farmers and it was great to see the Sambuca is in bloom and I really just enjoyed a walk along the River.

In the mornings, I wake up and I open the windows in the kitchen and you can literally smell the perfume of caffè alla moka in the air, I sit down at the table and wait for my moka to boil and you can hear the sounds of everyone waking up and making coffee. It really is a beautiful thing, and then you can tell when someone is making bread of baking something.

After dinner you can see people hanging out of their windows shaking out their tablecloths.

Today I am sitting on my balcony writing my cookbook, and there is a good breeze that is bringing whiffs of flowers and everything in bloom.

I know there are a lot of people that are probably not in a good place mentally, but I for one, am in a great place, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I have been studying Ayurvedic medicine, which lead me down a rabbit hole to vedic astrology, and I was reading that if you continually identifying with areas of life that are no in harmony with your birth chart, you will experience suffering and dissatisfaction, which leads you toward your true interests, nature and purpose.
