I was not a big fan of venice…. but, this last trip.. I think Venice is pretty darn amazing.
This time I stayed off the beaten path, by chance picked a hotel that was pretty far away from the train station, and after winding this way and that, found the place. The front desk staff was amazing. they even brought a really nice bowl of water into the room for Gemma, and then while we were out exploring the “local” part of venice they put gifts in my room… I was super super happy with this place.
