So, Since Christmas, We have been to Arkansas to deliver some horses and back to Southern Carolina…. .. and now we are back. Last night we experimented with Pancakes… I need to make a few more adjustments and then I’ll post that.. But, I have some Panettone bread, some that I had bought here and some that I very happily received in a care package from Italy 🙂
So, I was looking at the small loaf I had purchased and last night the recipe of the day was Panettone bread.. and then I was looking at it curious on if I could make it.. and I saw this.. recipe https://www.piccolericette.net/piccolericette/recipe/pain-perdu-di-panettone/
So, I decided to try to Change that up just a tad and Came up with this for Breakfast!
Ingredients
1 Loaf of Panettone Bread
6 eggs
1/4 cup of Almond Milk
1 tsp Cinnamon
Get out your griddle and warm it up to about 350 degrees.
In a small casserole dish, beat together, eggs, milk and cinnamon, then set aside.
Slice up your Panettone Bread into about 1/4″ thick sections.
Then Soak the Panettone slice in the milk and egg mixture, Once it is coated, place it on the griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides.
serve it up with some Organic Maple Syrup!
