Where to begin… The Italian government failed and now we have a new prime minister. And we are in the zone orange again, which means.. most things are closed..
But, I really don’t care what is going on in the world, I’m happy and healthy and living my “best life” as people say. I’m not sure what “my best life” is, but I go to sleep with a clear conscious and I wake up happy. So to me I’m living my “best life” haha.
No seriously. Thank God today is Fat Tuesday and the end of the festive seasons. I need a diet! hahaha so says everyone these days. But, I think we have an early spring coming so I cannot wait to start living on my terrace and staying outside in the beautiful sunshine!
Projects I am working on:
I’m still working on this Loose cardigan… This stitch sure is pretty, but my God it is time consuming. And this yarn I imported from america… it was gorgeous on the web page, but it isn’s as Fantastic as I thought it to be when I got it, but when it’s coming together I am loving it all over again.
I went on a spree of making hearts for valentines day….

And, most people know I love skulls, so I have been looking for skull things these past few days because Nicola, said something to me about making a skull granny blanket. And I thought, what a GREAT Idea!
So that lead me on a wild goose chase for skull crochet things, and in the past two days I have made two different skulls.

And Valentine’s day has come and gone. Nicola surprised me with breakfast from my favorite pastry chef in town.
And then, he brought me to my favourite restaurant for lunch (restaurants have to close early now)
I didn’t take pictures of the meals, but, I had a rosemary spiced steak, and Nicola had Pasta with Clams.
I ate the best tiramisu I have ever eaten in my life… and I mean ever in my life. In fact I begged the chef to tell me the recipe, and he said he would come to my house and we would make it together! I adore him! (he is a good friend of ours)
And, then we went to our favorite bar. And met a few friends of ours. We had a blast, I drank a little too much, but, hey it was the “closing” day of the bar, and a holiday! But, I had a wonderful time.
Then I got to thinking, we don’t take a lot of pictures together and I have no idea why. I guess I’m not one of those showy people. Or one of those people who have to take selfies all the time… boh… But, I literally just told him we needed to start taking more pictures.. I’m not sure if he is listening to me, because the soccer game is on!! haha
The Hardback version of the book is on its way to my house, to make the approval. Then I will make it available for everyone!
I guess that is all the updates around here.. I need to get to making some cooking videos!
