Friday I had some clients to see at the Augusta Cutting Horse futurity…. So, I loaded up and went down to Georgia. we walked around and checked out the vendors..
I got a saddle pad that I wanted to buy but, it was 129 online.. I found it mis marked for 69.99, so I immediately snatched that right up.. Ragner will be please when he gets to wear it…
It has been 3 weeks since I have ridden any of my horses…. the weather has just sucked, and I know I have been saying that.. but, it’s not that I’m complaining.. I’m just over the weather.. 🙂
Well, While I was down there, I went to the Stallion Breeding auction…. and well, I was compelled to bid on this one horse.. and it went for $7500.. can you believe that??
anyways, we got two different horses…. One is a pepto horse and the other is a doc a lena…. so, We are breeding Paula and Charly to them..
then Saturday, I got up and I had to go to Clemson, for the Barrel Racing Futurity… and I spent some time there.. It was Freezing.. and the wind was blowing like big hard long bursts.. it was horribly cold out…
So then after that.. we went back home.. and hunkered down for the night…
Bright and Early Sunday, we got up and found that the horse trough had sprung a leak and we had no water pressure in the house… it wasn’t that bad of a thing to fix.. but a hassle none-the-less..
Then I started raking up leaves and burning them, and waiting on a load of firewood to get delivered…
So I decided to let Charlie out so he could stretch his legs.. and boy oh boy did he…

then, I stacked firewood and about night fall, we headed in for the night. I made Gumbo and Watched old movies.. like the Cowboy way!
