Well, where did I go after work? to the Corvette dealership…. lol….
Seriously.. I said goodbye to the first car I ever officially bought on my own…
I was going to miss it… but, Not bad enough to not like the one I traded it in for…
Its a 6 speed and torch red… and has 3900 miles… and it’s mine 🙂
I drove that bad boy home… and that’s that.. 🙂
I’m in heaven… and trying to get used to driving a 6 speed… lol
That night.. My father and I went to go see Ricky Skaggs… I was so excited he was playing a lot of his old stuff 🙂 He played cajun moon, heartbreak, Highway 40 blues and some other great stuff… So I went down after the theatre cleared out and I bought his new cd he just came out with and a bluegrass dedication to some of the great hits of 1945-47… and then it happened.. I met him… 🙂 All the years I’ve been going to see him in concert I’ve never met him… I was excited… what a wonderful weekend… I mean it… I am so very blessed…but I also know that I worked my butt off for 6 years in school….
