Tre is 3 in Italian by the way.. this is the last day of fun I had there… Saturday and Sunday were comprised of a Seminar and airport travel.. So Friday I headed up towards Sedona.. everyone told me about this mystical spiritual get in touch with God place…..
Our First stop was the Montezuma Castle.. holy crap.. I just stopped there for the hell of it.. and it was bad ass… these Native Americans built this into the side of a cliff… and then just up and left it there…
It was awesome..
Leaving the Castle, I told myself how much I would love to have some fry bread.. but, I didn’t know where to get any… well coming out of here.. there is a little tent stand.. and a big sign that read “Fry Bread”.. I gasped and was alive with excitement and stopped the car… lol
I get out.. and then there is jewelry everywhere.. So I get to talking to these people, and they were Native American of course..
and I ordered some fry bread.. and bought me an awesome necklace with a dream catcher on it.. and Wayne (the Indian) and I started talking.. I asked him how many tourist come here and tell him they are Indian.. he said “a lot.. ” I said “I bet they all tell you they are cherokee” he laughed and said “yeah they tell me I’m a 1/32 of cherokee… I tell them go stand in the sun until your nose bleeds. then you have no more indian blood in you” I busted out laughing.. and he said “you look like you have a lot of indian blood in you”

Well, after I ate enough of the fry bread to stuff a few people.. I headed back off to Sedona..
I was getting really excited about the time I got onto the Red rock Scenic way…
I mean it was gorgeous….
until, I made it to Sedona…
HOLY CRAP.. that place was like Gatlinburg on crack.. but, with gorgeous scenery…
I’m not saying that the smokies aren’t beautiful, because that is one of my favorite places to go.. but, there really is nothing like these red rock mountains.. It’s like georgia red clay sculpted into beautiful piece of art….
Needless to say.. I stopped at the Javolina Cantina.. because we had heard it was “the place to eat” there.. and I totally loved Macayo better.. but, it was still good food…
So, In sedona.. i didn’t have any spiritual awakenings or anything… I might should have hung out with Wayne and his family.. and had us a indian sweat or something..
Here are some pictures from Sedona..
had no Idea this placed existed.. but, It was awesome.. this place was a ghost town.. literally.. and I’d love to go back there again, when I have more daylight..
But, I’ll end this long entry with all the pictures from Jerome..
