Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In the mixing bowl of a standup mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy and smooth.
Add in the eggs, one at at a time, and mixing well after each egg, mix until fully combined.
Mix in the orange zest and juice.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add into the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour into the previously prepared loaf pan, smooth out the top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Then carefully lift the cake out by the parchment paper and allow to cook completely.
