Crockpot Creamy Pork Roast, with apples and carrots

This is a great fix it and forget it crockpot meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/3 cups of "cream of something-ish" soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons onion soup mix
  • 2 1/4 cups water cans
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme crushed
  • 2 pounds pork loin
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 2 carrots peeled and roughly chopped
  • 4 apples sliced
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Method
 

  1. In a sauce pan add 1/3 cup of dry mix, and then add 1 1/4 cup water, bring to a slow boil, stirring frequently until it has become thickened. Poor this into your slow cooker.
  2. Then stir in vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire, onion soup mix and thyme. Add the pork, carrots and onions.
  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or until the pork is cooked through.
  4. Add the apples during the last 20 minutes of the cooking time.
  5. Once you are ready to serve this, remove the pork and the vegetables and set aside in the serving dish.
  6. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add about 4 cups of the juice from the crockpot.
  7. Mix with 2-4 tablespoons of flour and begin to whisk, until the sauce becomes thickened.
  8. Poor over the meat and vegetables and serve.

Notes

You can use 2 (10 1/2 ounces each ) Campbell’s® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup or any Mushroom Soup Mix.
