Homemade Guacamole

Homemade Guacamole is one of the best treats you can make for yourself!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 avocados ripe
  • 1/2 small onion finely diced
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper seeds removed, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon gops
  • 2 tablespoons pre-prepared salsa

Method
 

  1. Prepare a large mixing bowl.
  2. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit and with the knife, slice thin straight line slices into the
  3. meat of the avocado, careful not to cut all the way through, then cut lines across so you have little cubes cut into the skin of the avocado.
  4. Squeeze the avocado from the middle, skin side, into the bowl.
  5. You now have little chunks of avocado in your mixing bowl!
  6. Repeat this for all halves of the avocado, discard the skin.
  7. Add the diced tomatoes, diced onion, garlic, cilantro*,jalapeño*, salsa, gops and lime juice.
  8. Mash the avocado and everything else with a fork and make smooth or keep it chunky, that is personal preference. I like it chunky.
  9. Taste after you mash and mix to see if you need more seasonings or not.
Notes:
  1. *Cilantro note: I like to add a handful of fresh chopped cilantro, but I know that some people do not like the taste of a lot of cilantro.
  2. *jalapeño note: If you do not have access to fresh peppers, you can use the kind in the jar.
